Oooh! We’ve Got It All Wrong About Bold & Beautiful’s Dylan

Bold & Beautiful so rarely does subtlety that we can be forgiven, right, for assuming that Dylan was being positioned as Luna 2.0. But it would appear that we are wrong.

Many of us ascribed creeper qualities to Dylan when she gazed in the window at pal Electra and boyfriend Will in an embrace. And we imagined malevolent intent when the unhoused co-ed ogled a shirtless Will when he returned from catching some waves.

But it’s looking more and more like Dylan is just a nice young woman who’s happy for her friend’s solid relationship and has eyes, therefore, noticed that Will is ripped. Nothing scandalous. Nothing psycho. Just human.

That may be bad news if you’re looking for over-the-top Luna-cy again. However, if you just want some real, down-to-earth drama, it promises to be very good news. (And you’ll also get plenty of cray cray courtesy of Sheila going off the rails.) Why’s that?

Because with a recast R.J. returning to the canvas this week (get your first look here), the stage is set for a Will/Electra/R.J./Dylan quadrangle.

We can see it now: Dylan will become smitten with R.J., who will crush on Electra (since they’re not biologically related and Forresters love to date each other!), R.J. will make Electra suspicious of Will and Dylan, and boom! The pressure cooker will explode in such a way that we may be following this foursome trading partners for years like we did Liam, Steffy, Wyatt and Hope!
