The summer of 2025 has been a busy one on Days of Our Lives. Sophia gave birth and secretly told everyone she gave the child up for adoption, while in reality leaving it at the fire station’s safe drop off. Johnny’s been on trial for shooting EJ, putting everyone on edge. And there have been hints that Stefano may once again rise from the ashes. While all that has been going on, Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols shared the real-world summer fun they’ve had with the fans.

They Marveled at Life’s Full Circle

Evans (Kayla) and Nichols (Steve) shared a fun video on Instagram with the caption, “As summer comes to a close, we took a moment to sit down together, swap stories, and relive the highlights – from family time to fun with friends. Here’s a little peek at the moments that made our summer shine.” In the video, Evans worried that her dress would clash with the tapestry hanging behind them.

They then went on to discuss their summer, with Evans starting by remarking, “We were just talking about how we’ve had such a great time with all of our grandkids. We’re so lucky.” She noted that when they first started working together, they had both been married within a year of each other. Both marveled that they are now nearing 40 years of marriage with kids and grandkids added into the mix along the way.
