Victor Newman Refuses Jack’s Deal and Has No Idea What’s Coming
At Newman Ranch, Jack Abbott is STILL trying to make Victor see reason! He wants the AI software in exchange for Matt Clark, but Victor isn’t budging. Matt sits there running his mouth until Nikki tells him he’s trash and belongs burning in hell. She warns him she’ll put him in the ground herself! Matt just grins and says this is a normal day for him. He wants a SNACK. The audacity of this man!
Victor gets a mysterious text and holds up a finger, saying he has to deal with something. Jack can’t believe Victor is just LEAVING in the middle of negotiations! Kyle orders the security team to take Matt out to the car while they wait.
When Victor returns, he shocks everyone by saying Matt Clark is theirs now. He has “more important issues” to deal with and tells the Abbotts to show themselves out! Jack warns Victor he has until tomorrow morning, or he’ll let Matt go free. Victor doesn’t flinch and orders his security team to follow the Abbotts’ car and not lose sight of Matt.
That’s when Victoria arrives, and Victor drops the BOMB. Their family is under attack! The AI program hasn’t been stolen, but it’s turned on its host and is GUTTING Newman Enterprises as they speak!
Cane Ashby Already Pulled the Trigger on Victor
Over at Crimson Lights, Phyllis is ALL cranked up after their confrontation with Billy and Sally at the GCAC. She’s ready to take over Newman Enterprises and wants Cane to set the AI loose right NOW!
Cane Ashby makes sure this is what she really wants because everything is about to change. Phyllis is IN. She asks if he’s ready to pull the trigger. That’s when Cane grins and says, “It’s already done.” Phyllis can’t BELIEVE it! The AI is already attacking Newman from the inside?! Cane reveals he did it while they were at the club. She was too busy tearing into Billy to even notice!
Phyllis kisses him passionately and drags him back to his train car. “All aboard!” These two celebrate their victory in BED, with Phyllis joking they should rename the company “We Win, You Lose LLC.” She’s been waiting for this moment for YEARS. All the people who belittled her will finally see that she’s WON!
Billy Abbott Tips Off Jack About the Scheme
Here’s where it gets MESSY on The Young and the Restless! At the GCAC earlier, Billy and Sally ran into Cane and Phyllis in the lobby. Phyllis went OFF on Billy, calling him disgusting and saying she can’t wait to see him crumble. Billy didn’t care, but Sally noticed he seemed energized by the confrontation.
Back at their apartment, Billy calls Jack with some news he’s going to want to hear. He tells Jack and Kyle that Phyllis and Cane are working together to take down Newman Enterprises! Jack and Kyle immediately figure out that Cane must have had a copy of the AI software and is using it against Victor.
Billy admits he wishes HE was the one taking Victor down. Sally stands in the hallway listening to the whole conversation. Is she worried about Billy falling back into old patterns? Because that look on her face says she’s not thrilled about any of this!
