Kristen was recovering from an infection in the same hospital. When doctors asked Kristen whether to pull Peter’s plug, she went to his room to see him one last time.

That’s when Peter WOKE UP. And he was FURIOUS. He screamed at Kristen that he’d “see her in hell” because she betrayed him in the crypt. Kristen rushed out and told Dr. Kayla Johnson that Peter was awake. Kayla immediately called detectives Rafe Hernandez and Jada Hunter to inform them Peter had regained consciousness.

But then something sinister happened on Days of Our Lives. A masked “doctor” entered Peter’s room with a syringe, injected something into Peter’s IV bag, and calmly walked out.
