In a twist that could’ve been right out of one of her Hallmark Channel movies, Young & Restless alum Hunter King (ex-Summer) tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in a Medieval Times-themed wedding, Just Jared reports.

The Emmy winner and filmmaker Chris Copier met back in 2022 while working on the indie Give Me Your Eyes. She was the leading lady; he, the first assistant director. Since then, they’ve teamed up for other projects including Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story (which obvs was inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance). King also stars in Copier’s directorial debut, the thriller Rabisu: Curse of the Demon (streaming on VOD services starting in April).

The newlyweds exchanged their vows at Same Day Marriage in Studio City, Calif. — the very spot where the bride’s sisters held their legal wedding ceremonies. They and the 18 family members and friends in attendance later had lunch at a tiki bar and spent the evening at Medieval Times.

King tells the website that she and Copier will have a destination wedding later this year. But for now, “same-day marriage, a tiki bar and Medieval Times… 10 out of 10 way to start married life.”

King won two Emmys for her work as Young & Restless’ Summer and recurred on primetime’s Life in Pieces before leaving the soap. (Allison Lanier stepped in as Nick and Phyllis’ Supergirl.) Since exiting Genoa City, King has made quite a name for herself in Hallmark rom-coms like A Royal Corgi Christmas and The Professional Bridesmaid.
