Dani Nearly Quits — Plus, Grayson Becomes Jacob’s Pawn!

With the big photo shoot that will mark her return to modeling rapidly approaching, Dani suddenly has second thoughts… especially after learning the photographer is a known ageist. Pamela and Andre manage to change Dani’s mind, however. Joey later approaches Dani and subtly reminds her of the $10,000 bet they made regarding whether her marriage would last a year. Once he exits, Nicole approaches and joins them, only to wind up receiving quite a bit of ribbing from her sister about the many men buzzing around her these days.
Jacob Keeps Grayson Quiet
Having apparently never heard that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, Jacob comes in hot when confronting Grayson. Jacob insists he’s not undercover, but rather trying to earn extra money. Why? He claims to be in debt and doesn’t want to borrow money from Naomi. Grayson is skeptical, but eventually buys into the story and agrees to work with Jacob while keeping his true identity a secret. Jacob later tells Smitty that this works out perfectly, because he can use Grayson as a contact, get as much info from him as possible and then throw him under the proverbial bus!
Vanessa Turns Down an Offer
Joey tells Vanessa he still thinks having dinner with her kids is the worst idea since sending an armed Dani to her ex-husband’s wedding. Vanessa disagrees, wanting to be more involved in one another’s lives. Later, she is approached by Pamela about joining a prestigious women’s organization. Although excited, when Pam mentions a background check, Vanessa realizes all her secrets could be exposed. Although disappointed, she tells Joey she’s “not willing to go to prison for a luncheon.” She does, however, still want him to meet her children. Because while she has every intention of honoring Doug’s legacy at the clinic, her future is with the casino owner!

Nicole has a talk with Smitty about the fact that the kids in general, and Samantha in particular, could use more attention. The concerned grandma says she’s there for whatever the family needs, especially while Martin is on the campaign trail and Smitty is working on his mysterious — and potentially dangerous — story. Shanice does some physical therapy with Ted, who injured himself during last week’s basketball game. She later shows up at his hotel room to continue the therapy and top it off with a little time in the sack. She admits to fearing they are from different worlds, but Ted says they’ll forget where they came from and create their own world.
