Leslie Hijacks Chelsea and Madison’s Wedding Plans While Planning… Eva and Izaiah’s?

Naomi wakes up in a hotel room from a nightmare about Jacob getting killed while undercover. She rushes to her husband’s arms, happy that he’s there. After recounting their night of sex, Naomi thanks him for finding ways to keep them connected. She’ll take any stolen moments she can get. Jacob tells her how much he loves her before leaving.

At the hospital, Naomi confides her fears about Jacob to Ashley, while an undercover Jacob makes a call to plan another drop.

Is This It For Kial?

Carlton returns to the hospital from doing viral dances at his niece’s birthday celebration in the French Caribbean. He was so homesick for Nicole, he readily agrees to a double date with Joey and Vanessa. As they joke about dining with the local mobster, a smug Kial interrupts to retrieve the watch he presumably left at her place. The men exchange barbs, which Nicole promptly puts an end to.

Privately, Nicole warns Kial that he was way out of line regarding the watch stunt. He shouldn’t hold his breath while she decides if this changes things for her. She then seeks out Carlton to apologize, but there’s no need, since he’s characteristically understanding.

Whose Wedding?

Leslie goes overboard in the Country Club lobby, detailing her ideas for Eva and Izaiah’s non-existent wedding to event planner Bijou. Meanwhile, the unbetrothed couple can’t keep their hands off each other at Eva’s apartment.

Dani and Kat meet with Madison and Chelsea at the Club’s restaurant to go over their very real wedding plans for spring 2027. Leslie overhears and writes down all of their ideas. She gives Bijou her notes with dates and instructions to book everything (venue, music, etc.), which blocks the Dupree women’s attempts to do the same. When Dani tries to enlist a frazzled Bijou’s services for help, she discovers who hijacked Chelsea’s wedding.

Leslie waltzes into Eva’s apartment, interrupting her and Izaiah’s naked canoodling under a blanket on the couch. After they get dressed, Izaiah makes Leslie coffee and encourages Eva to go to work. He’ll be fine alone with her mama.

Once Eva’s gone, Leslie immediately assumes Izaiah is hitting on her and then gets offended when he makes it clear he’s not. He implores Leslie to give Eva space instead of planning her life. He’ll give her a heads-up if they decide to get married, but until then, she needs to let him love Eva without a countdown over their heads. Realizing he really is serious about Eva, Leslie agrees to cool it with the wedding plans… for now. Chuckling, Izaiah fist bumps her.
